Description
A vulnerability was found in Tenda F456 1.0.0.5. Impacted is the function fromqossetting of the file /goform/qossetting. The manipulation of the argument page results in stack-based buffer overflow. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Tenda F456 router, specifically in version 1.0.0.5. The issue arises in the 'fromqossetting' function within the '/goform/qossetting' file. The vulnerability is triggered by manipulating the 'page' argument, which is passed to the 'sprintf' function without proper length validation, leading to a buffer overflow.
