Description
A vulnerability was identified in code-projects Vehicle Showroom Management System 1.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /util/StaffDetailsFunction.php. Such manipulation of the argument STAFF_ID leads to sql injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in version 1.0 of the Code-Projects Vehicle Showroom Management System. The issue resides in the '/util/StaffDetailsFunction.php' file, where the 'STAFF_ID' parameter is manipulated, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized database access, data modification or deletion, and exposure of sensitive information.
It is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
