Description
ssh in OpenSSH before 10.4 can have a use-after-free when a server changes its host key during a key re-exchange. (This outcome occurs only on the client side.)
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the ssh client of OpenSSH, affecting versions prior to 10.4. This vulnerability occurs when a server changes its host key during a key re-exchange, leading to potential memory management issues on the client side.
Users can upgrade to OpenSSH version 10.4 or later to address this vulnerability.
