Description
Out-of-bounds read in Windows Kernel allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally.
A security feature bypass vulnerability has been identified in the Windows Kernel. This vulnerability allows an authorized attacker to locally bypass an access control mechanism that restricts a sensitive debugging interface to administrators only. By exploiting this vulnerability, a standard authenticated user could gain unauthorized access to functionalities intended for highly privileged users, thereby weakening the administrative boundaries on debugging capabilities.
