Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ("Cross-site Scripting") vulnerability in Drupal Colorbox allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This issue affects Colorbox versions: from 0.0.0 to 2.1.5, from 0.0.0 to 2.2.0.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the Drupal Colorbox module, affecting versions 0.0.0 through 2.1.5 and 0.0.0 through 2.2.0. The issue arises from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, allowing the injection of malicious JavaScript under certain conditions. This vulnerability requires a user role that permits the entry of HTML content.
Users of Colorbox 2.1.x should upgrade to Colorbox 2.1.5, and users of Colorbox 2.2.x should upgrade to Colorbox 2.2.1.
