Description
A vulnerability was detected in Totolink A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024. Affected by this issue is the function setWiFiEasyCfg of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi of the component CGI Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument merge results in os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the Totolink A7100RU router, specifically in the 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 version. The issue resides within the CGI handler, in a function called setWiFiEasyCfg, located in the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands by manipulating the 'merge' parameter in a crafted HTTP request. The injected commands are executed with root privileges, potentially leading to a full compromise of the router and its connected network.
