Description
Cross-Site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - RedirectManager Extension allows Cross Site Request Forgery. This issue affects Mediawiki - RedirectManager Extension: from * before 1.3.3.
A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the RedirectManager extension for MediaWiki, affecting versions prior to 1.3.3. The vulnerability arises because the API endpoint does not require a CSRF token for creating redirects, only a POST request, which is insufficient for security.
Users can update to RedirectManager version 1.3.3 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
