CVE-2026-58155 Details
Description
Apache Traffic Server truncates over-long header names, allowing header aliasing, request smuggling, and policy bypass. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.9, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.14, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, which fix the issue.
A vulnerability exists in Apache Traffic Server due to the improper truncation of over-long header names. This flaw, present in versions 8.0.0 prior to 8.1.9, 9.0.0 prior to 9.2.14, and 10.0.0 prior to 10.1.3, enables header aliasing, request smuggling, and bypassing of policies. The issue arises from the server's handling of excessively long header names, which are truncated rather than rejected, creating opportunities for malicious actors to manipulate request processing.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Traffic Server versions 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, both of which address this vulnerability.
