Description
Buffer over-read in Windows Subsystem for Linux allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
A buffer over-read vulnerability in Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL2) has been identified, allowing an authorized attacker to locally elevate privileges. This issue arises from improper handling of memory, which could be exploited to gain unauthorized access to elevated rights.
