Description
Administrator Arbitrary File Upload in TemplateSpare <= 4.2.0 versions.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file upload has been identified in the WordPress TemplateSpare plugin, affecting versions through 4.2.0. This issue arises from insufficient validation of uploaded files, which could enable malicious users to upload potentially harmful files, such as backdoors, that could be executed to gain unauthorized access to the website.
Users of the WordPress TemplateSpare plugin should update to version 4.2.1 or later to address this vulnerability. Patchstack users can enable auto-updates for vulnerable plugins.
