Description
Contributor Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in StatCounter <= 2.1.1 versions.
A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress StatCounter plugin, affecting versions through 2.1.1. This issue allows contributors to inject malicious scripts, such as redirects or advertisements, into the website, which would be executed when visitors access the site.
Users of the WordPress StatCounter plugin should update to version 2.1.2 or later to address this vulnerability. Patchstack users can enable auto-update for vulnerable plugins.
