Description
Malicious HTML content could be injected into the page pretix shows when redirection to an untrusted page occurs. Since this page has a Content-Security-Policy, this can mainly be used for phishing purposes.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in pretix. When the application redirects to an untrusted page, it is possible to inject malicious HTML content that could be executed in the user's browser. Although the affected page has a Content-Security-Policy in place, this vulnerability could still be exploited for phishing purposes. All currently supported versions of pretix are affected, except for the fixed versions 2026.5.2, 2026.4.4, and 2026.3.4.
Users are advised to update to pretix version 2026.5.2, 2026.4.4, or 2026.3.4. For those using the pretix Hosted service, the vulnerability has already been addressed.
