Description
Deloitte AI Assist for Customer accepted unauthenticated POST requests through public-facing API endpoints that allowed a remote attacker to make limited additions to the configuration. These additions were not used by the system. On 2026-03-25, AI Assist for Customer restricted network access and enforced authentication for the previously exposed endpoints.
A vulnerability exists in the Deloitte AI Assist for Customer platform, allowing remote attackers to send unauthenticated POST requests through public API endpoints. This vulnerability enables limited, unauthorized modifications to the application's configuration, although these changes are not utilized by the system. The issue affects all tenant deployments of the AI Assist platform, including Deloitte's internal environments. On March 25, 2026, the company restricted network access and implemented authentication for the previously exposed endpoints.
Deloitte has decommissioned the vulnerable Keycloak administrative consoles and removed the exposed API endpoints from the public Azure API Management gateways. However, some vulnerabilities, such as the exposure of the password grant type on public OAuth clients, remain unaddressed.
