Description
A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Jenkins EC2 Fleet Plugin 4.2.3.539.v8fedff2a_81c3 and earlier allows attackers to connect to an attacker-specified URL using attacker-specified credentials IDs obtained through another method, capturing AWS credentials stored in Jenkins.
A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in Jenkins EC2 Fleet Plugin versions 4.2.3.539.v8fedff2a_81c3 and earlier. This vulnerability allows attackers to connect to a URL of their choice using credentials IDs obtained through other means, capturing AWS credentials stored in Jenkins.
Users of the EC2 Fleet Plugin should update to version 4.2.3.540.va_6eedb_7b_c112, which requires Overall/Administer permission and POST requests to perform the affected form validation actions.
