Description
Stack-based buffer overflow in Windows File History Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Windows File History Service. This vulnerability allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. The issue arises from improper handling of memory, which can be exploited to overwrite the stack and potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated rights.
