Description
A vulnerability was detected in Totolink A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024. The affected element is the function setNtpCfg of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi. Performing a manipulation of the argument tz results in os command injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the Totolink A7100RU router running firmware version 7.4cu.2313_b20191024. The issue arises in the web management interface, specifically within the 'setNtpCfg' function of the '/cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi' file. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands by manipulating the 'tz' parameter in the HTTP request. The injected commands are executed with root privileges on the device, potentially leading to a full compromise of the router and its connected network.
