Description
A flaw in Node.js HTTP/2 handling can cause HTTP/2 retained header blocks evade maxSessionMemory and enable remote memory exhaustion. This vulnerability affects Node.js **24.x** and **22.x**.
A vulnerability in Node.js versions 24.x and 22.x in the HTTP/2 module allows retained header blocks to bypass memory limits, leading to remote memory exhaustion. This issue arises from improper handling of HTTP/2 headers, which can evade the maximum session memory restrictions and cause excessive memory usage.
Users can upgrade to Node.js versions 26.5.1, 24.18.1, or 22.23.2 to address this vulnerability.
