Description
HCL DevOps Deploy / HCL Launch is susceptible to an exposure of sensitive information vulnerability in output logs. This exposure could allow an attacker with access to the logs to potentially obtain sensitive values related to that step.
A vulnerability allowing the exposure of sensitive information in output logs has been identified in HCL DevOps Deploy versions 8.0 prior to 8.0.1.14, 8.1 prior to 8.1.2.7, 8.2 prior to 8.2.2.0, and HCL Launch versions 7.3 through 7.3.2.18. This vulnerability could enable an attacker with access to the logs to retrieve sensitive values related to the logged steps.
Users are advised to upgrade to HCL Launch version 7.3.2.19 or to HCL DevOps Deploy versions 8.0.1.14, 8.1.2.7, or 8.2.2.0. These versions are available through the My HCLSoftware Portal.
