Description
Flowise before 3.0.13 contains an information exposure vulnerability in the POST /api/v1/account/forgot-password endpoint that returns full user objects including PII to unauthenticated attackers. An attacker can enumerate valid email addresses and harvest sensitive user data including user IDs, names, account status, and timestamps by sending requests with known email addresses.
A vulnerability in Flowise versions prior to 3.0.13 allows unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive user information through the POST /api/v1/account/forgot-password endpoint. The endpoint inadvertently exposes full user objects, including personally identifiable information (PII) such as user IDs, names, account status, and timestamps. This information can be harvested by sending requests with known email addresses, enabling attackers to enumerate valid emails and collect sensitive data.
Users are advised to update to Flowise version 3.0.13 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
