Description
Subscriber PHP Object Injection in RealHomes <= 4.5.3 versions.
A PHP object injection vulnerability has been identified in the RealHomes WordPress theme, affecting versions through 4.5.3. This vulnerability allows for high-priority exploitation, with the potential for mass-exploit campaigns targeting thousands of websites simultaneously. Such vulnerabilities can lead to various impacts, including code execution, SQL injection, path traversal, and denial-of-service, especially if a suitable property of point (POP) chain is available.
Users are advised to update the RealHomes WordPress theme to version 4.5.4 or later. Patchstack has also issued a mitigation rule to block attacks until the update is applied.
