Description
Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in Drupal Plotly.js Graphing allows Object Injection. This issue affects Plotly.js Graphing versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.0.2.
A critical vulnerability allowing PHP object injection has been identified in the Drupal Plotly.js Graphing module, affecting versions prior to 3.0.2. The issue arises from improperly controlled modification of dynamically-determined object attributes, where malicious data can be written to fields that store PHP-serialized strings. This vulnerability requires the core JSON:API module to be enabled with full operation acceptance, or an alternative method to directly edit field values.
Users are advised to upgrade to Plotly.js Graphing version 3.0.2.
