Description
Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in Drupal Flag attendance field allows Object Injection. This issue affects Flag attendance field versions: from 0.0.0 to 1.2.
A PHP object injection vulnerability has been identified in the Drupal Flag attendance field module, specifically in versions prior to 1.2. This vulnerability arises from the module's improper handling of dynamically-determined object attributes, allowing malicious data to be written directly to the attendance field. When this data is unserialized, it can lead to object injection. The issue is exacerbated if the core JSON:API module is enabled with full operation acceptance, or if there are other means to directly edit field values.
Users of the Flag attendance field module for Drupal should upgrade to version 8.x-1.2.
