CVE-2026-5571 Details
Description
A vulnerability was identified in Technostrobe HI-LED-WR120-G2 5.5.0.1R6.03.30. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /fs of the component Configuration Data Handler. Such manipulation of the argument File leads to information disclosure. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability exists in the Technostrobe HI-LED-WR120-G2 obstruction lighting controller, specifically in version 5.5.0.1R6.03.30. The issue arises from an unauthenticated file read capability through the '/fs' endpoint of the Configuration Data Handler component. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to access sensitive information, such as user credentials and MQTT broker configuration, by manipulating the 'file' parameter in HTTP requests.
Users are advised to remove or disable the '/fs' endpoint in production firmware, or if it is necessary, to require authentication and restrict access to a safe, non-sensitive directory. Additionally, passwords should be hashed using secure algorithms like bcrypt or Argon2, and MQTT credentials should be encrypted at rest.
