Description
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions prior to 7.1.2-26he, the `-concatenate` operation is missing policy checks, potentially resulting in both reading and writing to paths disallowed by the security policy. This issue has been fixed in version 7.1.2-26.
A policy bypass vulnerability has been identified in ImageMagick versions prior to 7.1.2-26 and 6.9.13-51. The issue arises in the '-concatenate' operation, which lacks proper policy checks. This deficiency could allow unauthorized reading and writing to paths that are normally restricted by the security policy. The vulnerability has been addressed in the patched versions 7.1.2-26 and 6.9.13-51.
