Description
A vulnerability was detected in QingdaoU OnlineJudge up to 1.6.1. Affected by this issue is the function service_url of the file JudgeServer.service_url of the component judge_server_heartbeat Endpoint. The manipulation results in server-side request forgery. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A stored server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in QingdaoU OnlineJudge versions through 1.6.1. The issue is located in the judge_server_heartbeat endpoint, specifically within the service_url parameter of the JudgeServer.service_url file. This vulnerability allows an attacker with a judge server token to submit a malicious URL that is stored in the database and later used to make internal HTTP requests. Such exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to internal resources, metadata exfiltration, network scanning, or even remote code execution.
