Description
Integer overflow or wraparound in Microsoft Defender allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
A vulnerability allowing integer overflow or wraparound has been identified in Microsoft Defender. This issue enables an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. The vulnerability resides in the Microsoft Malware Protection Engine, which is used by various Microsoft security products, including Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials. All supported versions of Windows are affected.
