Description
A vulnerability has been identified in CPCI85 Central Processing/Communication (All versions < V26.20), SICORE Base system (All versions < V26.20.0). The affected application includes a debugging interface that is accessible through HTTP endpoints. This could allow an authenticated attacker to disrupt the system by crashing the web process causing denial of service conditions.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in Siemens SICAM 8 products, specifically in the CPCI85 Central Processing/Communication application and the SICORE Base system, all versions prior to V26.20.0. The vulnerability arises from a debugging interface accessible through HTTP endpoints, which could allow an authenticated attacker to crash the web process, disrupting the system and causing denial-of-service conditions.
Users are advised to update to Siemens SICAM 8 CPCI85 V26.20 or later, or to SICORE V26.20.0 or later. The CPCI85 V26.20 is available within the 'CP-8031/CP-8050 Package' V26.20 and the 'SICAM EGS Package' V26.20. The SICORE V26.20.0 can be found in the 'CP-8010/CP-8012 Package' V26.20 and the 'SICAM S8000 Package' V26.20.
