Description
NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to 2026.05.1, the base-migration endpoint accepted a caller-supplied URL that the migration worker dereferenced without enforcing protocol or destination, allowing scheme abuse (file:, ftp:, etc.) and probing of internal HTTP destinations. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.05.1.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in NocoDB versions through 2026.05.0. The issue arises in the base-migration endpoint, which accepted user-supplied URLs that were dereferenced by the migration worker without proper validation of the protocol or destination. This lack of validation allowed for scheme abuse, such as using file or FTP URLs, and the probing of internal HTTP destinations. The vulnerability has been patched in NocoDB version 2026.05.1.
Users can upgrade to NocoDB version 2026.05.1 to address this vulnerability.
