Description
Firefox for iOS preserved cookies set on the initial PDF request across cross-origin HTTP redirects in TemporaryDocument, allowing a malicious site to inject arbitrary cookies into requests to an unrelated target domain. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox for iOS 152.0.
A vulnerability in Firefox for iOS allowed for the injection of arbitrary cookies into requests for unrelated target domains. This issue arose because the browser preserved cookies from the initial PDF request during cross-origin HTTP redirects, creating an opportunity for exploitation by malicious sites. The vulnerability affects Firefox for iOS versions prior to 152.0.
Users can upgrade to Firefox for iOS version 152.0 to address this vulnerability.
