Description
OpenClaw before 2026.4.27 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in QQBot pre-dispatch slash commands that allows authenticated senders to skip allowFrom policy checks. Attackers can invoke slash commands before configured access control policies are applied, potentially triggering command handling from blocked senders depending on operator configuration.
A vulnerability allowing authorization bypass has been identified in OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.4.27. This issue arises in the QQBot pre-dispatch slash command processing, where authenticated users can circumvent allowFrom policy checks. As a result, these users may invoke slash commands before the relevant access control measures are applied. Depending on the operator's configuration, this could lead to command handling from senders who should have been blocked.
Users are advised to update to OpenClaw version 2026.4.27 or later. Until the update is applied, restrict QQBot slash command exposure. As a general practice, maintain narrow channel and tool allowlists, avoid sharing one Gateway between mutually untrusted users, and disable the affected feature when it is not needed.
