Description
Improper Authorization in Handler for Custom URL Scheme in Zoom Workplace before version 7.0.4 for Android and before 7.0.3 for iOS may allow an unauthenticated user to conduct an escalation of privilege via network access.
A vulnerability exists in Zoom Workplace for Android prior to version 7.0.4, Zoom Workplace for iOS prior to version 7.0.3, and the Zoom Meeting SDK for both Android and iOS prior to version 7.0.3. This vulnerability involves improper authorization in the handler for custom URL schemes, which may allow an unauthenticated user to escalate privileges through network access.
Users are advised to update to the latest version of Zoom Workplace for Android or iOS. The latest versions can be downloaded from the Zoom Download page. For developers using the Zoom Meeting SDK, it is recommended to update to version 7.0.4 for Android or 7.0.3 for iOS.
