Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: reset: amlogic: t7: Fix null reset ops Fix missing reset ops causing kernel null pointer dereference. This SOC's reset is currently not used yet.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's handling of reset operations for the Amlogic T7 system-on-chip has been addressed. The issue stemmed from missing reset operations, which led to a null pointer dereference in the kernel. Although this specific reset functionality is not yet in use, the absence of proper reset operations could potentially cause issues in the future.
Users can apply the latest patches from the Linux kernel stable tree to address this vulnerability. The patch is included in the commit referenced by this CVE.
