Description
Spoofing replies to Recursor might mark an IP of an authoritative server as not supporting EDNS, causing valdiation of DNSSEC records served by that server to fail.
A vulnerability exists in PowerDNS Recursor that allows for spoofing replies to the Recursor. This can result in an IP address of an authoritative server being incorrectly marked as not supporting EDNS, which in turn causes the validation of DNSSEC records from that server to fail.
