CVE-2026-52191 Details
Description
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in UTT nv518G nv518GV3v3.2.7-210919-161313 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the gohead/sub_444C8C component
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the UTT nv518G firmware version nv518GV3v3.2.7-210919-161313. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service condition by exploiting the gohead/sub_444C8C component. The issue arises when an HTTP request is sent with an excessively long port parameter. The websGetVar() function retrieves this user-controlled input and appends it to a stack buffer without proper length validation. This overflow can overwrite the saved return address, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
