CVE-2026-5207 Details
Description
The LifterLMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'order' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 9.2.1. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Instructor-level access and above who have the edit_post capability on the quiz, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the LifterLMS WordPress plugin, affecting all versions through 9.2.1. The issue arises from inadequate escaping of user-supplied data in the 'order' parameter, allowing authenticated attackers with Instructor-level access or higher, and the edit_post capability on quizzes, to inject additional SQL queries. This exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive database information.
Users are advised to update the LifterLMS WordPress plugin to version 9.2.2 or later.
