A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in SQLite version 3.41, within the memory management of the JSON parsing module. This flaw allows remote attackers to exploit the vulnerability by sending specially crafted JSON or JSONB payloads through user-controlled SQL function parameters. The exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to arbitrary code execution, unauthorized access to sensitive information, or cause a denial-of-service condition by crashing the application.
Users can upgrade to SQLite version 3.41.1 or later, as all subsequent maintenance releases after 3.41 address this vulnerability.
