Description
The C-MOR Video Surveillance web interface (up to version 6.0104) is vulnerable to Path Traversal via the 'cam' parameter in show-movies.pml.
A path traversal vulnerability has been identified in the C-MOR Video Surveillance web interface, affecting versions through 6.0104. The vulnerability arises in the 'cam' parameter of the 'show-movies.pml' component, allowing unauthorized users to read arbitrary system files. This exploitation does not require authentication and can be automated across multiple IP addresses.
Users are advised to update to a version of C-MOR Video Surveillance that is not vulnerable to this issue. If no updated version is available, consider removing the application from public access or restricting it to a VPN.
