Description
Incorrect access control in the impworks Bonsai v6.0 allows authenticated attackers with Editor privileges to escalate privileges to Administrator and execute unauthorized account, password, and configuration changes.
A vulnerability in Impworks Bonsai version 6.0 allows authenticated users with Editor privileges to escalate their rights to Administrator. This flaw enables unauthorized changes to user accounts, passwords, and global configurations. The issue arises because the application's authentication handler mistakenly accepts requests from Editors for administrative tasks, particularly those involving user management and dynamic configuration.
