Description
An issue in the loopback request handling component of fossar selfoss v2.20-SNAPSHOT allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands and obtain sensitive information via supplying a crafted HTTP request.
A vulnerability in the loopback request handling component of Fossar Selfoss version 2.20-SNAPSHOT allows external attackers to execute arbitrary commands and access sensitive information. This issue arises when the application is deployed behind a same-host reverse proxy that does not preserve forwarding headers, making external requests appear as if they originate from the local host. Under these conditions, an unauthenticated external requester can create sources and trigger server-side URL fetches, exploiting the application's trust in loopback requests.
