An issue in SQLite before Fossil check-in 869a51ae84df allows a local attacker to obtain sensitive information via the Session Extension changeset concat/changegroup merge path
A buffer over-read vulnerability has been identified in SQLite versions prior to the Fossil check-in 869a51ae84df, specifically in the Session Extension. This issue allows a local attacker to cause an out-of-bounds read and disclose sensitive information by manipulating a changeset blob. The vulnerability arises when the Session Extension's changeset merge functions process a corrupt changeset, leading to unintended memory access.
Users should update to the latest version of SQLite where this vulnerability has been fixed.
