Protection mechanism failure in Windows BitLocker allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature with a physical attack.
A protection mechanism failure in Windows BitLocker allows unauthorized attackers to bypass the device encryption feature on system storage devices. This vulnerability can be exploited through physical attacks, giving access to encrypted data. Affected products include various versions of Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and Windows Server 2025.
