Description
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, SiYuan contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Attribute View (database) asset cell renderer that escalates to remote code execution (RCE) in the Electron desktop client. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in SiYuan versions prior to 3.7.0. This issue resides in the Attribute View asset cell renderer and can escalate to remote code execution in the Electron desktop client. The vulnerability arises because user input is not properly sanitized, allowing for the injection of malicious scripts that can be executed on the victim's system.
Users can update to SiYuan version 3.7.0 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
