Description
Incorrect default permissions issue exists in Optical Disc Archive Software for Windows 5.5.3 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, arbitrary code may be executed with SYSTEM privileges.
A vulnerability exists in Sony Optical Disc Archive Software for Windows in versions through 5.5.3, due to incorrect default file access permissions in the software installers. This vulnerability allows for the execution of arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
Users are advised to update to the latest version of the Optical Disc Archive Software for Windows, available on the Sony Support website.
