Description
The registration path /v1/account/register provides no bot mitigation mechanisms, allowing malicious automated systems to flood the database.
A vulnerability exists in various Acer products that allows automated systems to abuse the account registration endpoint by sending a high volume of requests. This exploitation can overwhelm the database, as the registration path does not have any mechanisms in place to mitigate bot activity.
