Description
A vulnerability was detected in SourceCodester Online Quiz System up to 1.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file endpoint/add-question.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument quiz_question results in cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in SourceCodester Online Quiz System versions through 1.0. The issue resides in the Add Question functionality within the file endpoint/add-question.php. The vulnerability arises because the application does not properly sanitize user input in the quiz_question parameter, allowing attackers to inject malicious JavaScript. This injected script is stored in the database and executed without proper encoding when the quiz is viewed, impacting all users.
