Description
Frappe is a full-stack web application framework. Prior to 16.19.0 and 15.109.0, Data Import does not escape imported column headers before rendering previews and results, allowing an authenticated importer to persist script content that executes when another user views the import interface. This issue is fixed in versions 16.19.0 and 15.109.0.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Frappe web application framework, specifically in versions prior to 16.19.0 and 15.109.0. The issue arises in the Data Import feature, which fails to properly escape imported column headers before displaying previews and results. This oversight allows an authenticated user to inject script content that is executed when another user accesses the import interface.
Users can update to Frappe versions 16.19.0 or 15.109.0 to address this vulnerability.
