Description
The local MQTT broker does not enforce topic-level Access Control Lists (ACLs). This allows any client to subscribe using wildcard characters (# or +) to enumerate hidden network devices or publish rogue control commands.
A vulnerability exists in the local MQTT broker of Acer devices due to the lack of enforcement of topic-level Access Control Lists (ACLs). This oversight allows any client to use wildcard characters to subscribe to topics, potentially enumerating hidden network devices, or to publish unauthorized control commands.
