Description
Use of uninitialized resource in Microsoft Windows App Store allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
A vulnerability exists in the Microsoft Windows App Store due to the use of uninitialized resources. This flaw allows an authorized attacker to locally disclose sensitive information. The issue affects multiple Windows versions, including Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2022, and Windows Server 2019.
Users can apply the security update KB5099539 for Windows 10 and KB5099540 for Windows Server 2022. For Windows 11, the security update KB5101650 is available for versions 24H2 and 26H1, while KB5095051 can be used for version 25H2. Windows Server 2016 users should refer to KB5099535, and those on Windows Server 2019 can use KB5099538.
