Description
An improper access check allows unauthorized users to create custom fields via webservices endpoints.
A vulnerability exists in Joomla! CMS versions 4.0.0 prior to 5.4.6 and 6.0.0 prior to 6.1.1, where improper access checks enable unauthorized users to create custom fields through webservice endpoints. This flaw arises from incorrect access control, allowing exploitation by users who should not have the ability to modify or create such fields.
Users can upgrade to Joomla! CMS version 5.4.7 or 6.1.2 to address this vulnerability.
