Description
Lack of escaping leads to XSS vulnerabilities in modalreturn layouts of various components.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Joomla! CMS versions 4.0.0 prior to 5.4.6 and 6.0.0 prior to 6.1.1. The issue arises from a lack of proper escaping, which leads to XSS vulnerabilities in modalreturn layouts across various components.
Users can upgrade to Joomla! CMS versions 5.4.7 or 6.1.2 to address this vulnerability.
